Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is Government of India's flagship programme for achievement of Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in a time bound manner, as mandated by 86th amendment to the Constitution of India making free and compulsory Education to the Children of 6-14 years age group, a Fundamental Right. SSA is being implemented in partnership with State Governments to cover the entire country and address the needs of 192 million children in 1.1 million habitations. This scheme was launched in March, 2009 with the objective to enhance access to secondary education and to improve its quality. The implementation of the scheme started from 2009-10. It is envisaged to achieve an enrolment rate of 75% from 52.26% in 2005-06 at secondary stage of implementation of the scheme by providing a secondary school within a reasonable distance of any habitation. நாட்டில் நாளுக்கு நாள் கொரோனா தாக்கம் அதிகரித்துக் கொண்டே வரும் வேளையில், மாநிலத்தில் பள்ளிகள் மீண்டும் திறக்கப்பட்டவுடன் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் வழிகாட்டுதல்களின் தற்காலிக பட்டியலை என்.சி.இ.ஆர்.டி சமர்ப்பித்துள்ளது. என்.சி.இ.ஆர்.டி சமர்ப்பித்துள்ள அறிக்கையின் படி, பள்ளி திறந்தவுடன் ஒரு வகுப்பின் மாணவர்கள் ஒன்றாகப் பள்ளிக்கு அழைக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள். வாரத்தில் மூன்று நாட்கள் 'ஆட்' & 'ஈவன்' நம்பர் பார்முலா முறையில், ரோல் நம்பரின் படி இரண்டு ஷிப்ட்களாக வகுப்புகள் செயல்படும்.முதலாவதாக 'ஆட்' நம்பரில் இருக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கு வகுப்புகள் நடைபெறும். இரண்டாவதாக   'ஈவன்' நம்பரில் இருக்கும் மாணவர்களுக்கு வகுப்புகள் நடைபெறும்.இதில், ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்புகளுக்கு ஏற்ப தலா 10 நிமிடங்கள் இடைவெளி கொடுக்க வேண்டும்.சமூக இடைவெளியை பின்பற்ற, திறந்த வெளியில் வகுப்புகளை நடத்துவது நல்லது என்றும் தன் அறிக்கையில் பரிந்துரைத்துள்ளது என்.சி.இ.ஆர்.டி. 6 கட்டங்களாக திறக்கப்படும் பள்ளிகள்: முதல் கட்டமாக 11 மற்றும் 12ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்குப் பள்ளிகள் தொடங்கப்படும், ஒரு வாரம் கழித்து இரண்டாம்
